The Who’s Tommy (Nederlander Theatre, Broadway) – ★★ REVIEW

OHMYGOD HEY! It’s MickeyJoTheatre!

One of this year’s Tony Award nominated musicals revivals is THE WHO’S TOMMY, currently being performed at the Nederlander Theatre.

The show is the stage version of the iconic rock opera from The Who and was co-created by director Des McAnuff. First seen in the early 1990s, the musical is famous for songs like “See Me, Feel Me,” “I’m Free,” and “Pinball Wizard”.

The production stars Ali Louis Bourzgui, making his Broadway debut, as the adult Tommy opposite Alison Luff as Mrs. Walker, Adam Jacobs as Captain Walker, Bobby Conte as Cousin Kevin, and John Ambrosino as Uncle Ernie, Christina Sajous as The Acid Queen, and Haley Gustafson as Sally Simpson.

Check out today’s new video review to find out what I thought of this revival when I saw it recently on Broadway…
