It was announced yesterday that TINA: the Tina Turner musical would close in the West End after 7 years.
While the show has enjoyed considerable global success, and recently commenced its first UK Tour, this still raises questions about the place of jukebox musicals such as Tina in the current theatre landscape.
It also raises questions about which show we might see next at the Aldwych Theatre in London…
